Sarah & Tim brought their NYC chic aesthetic to the Northern Virginia countryside at their Stone Tower Winery wedding. A bloom filled floral arch was the perfect backdrop for them to tie the knot for this beautiful June wedding. There is so much to love about this wedding day. Just to name a few: the […]
Get ready for some baby heart eyes! Baby M’s lifestyle newborn photography session at their beautiful home in Clarksburg was full of snuggles and and precious baby moments. Sarah and Dale are new parents, but you’d never know it from how calm and serene they were during their session. Baby M was an absolute trooper […]
Sharing Emily and Garrett’s wedding at District Winery that I photographed last November. Equal parts modern, chic, and full of fun, Emily and Garrett eloped during COVID and were so excited to finally party it up with their loved ones. You may remember their stunning California engagement that we shot in Anaheim, and they surely […]
I’ve had the privilege of capturing this family multiple times: for their engagement, two weddings (thank you COVID), and now as their family grows. It has been such a joy watching them grow their family, and I am so excited to see what amazing things this stage of life has in store for them. Winnie […]
I’m back with another intimate wedding celebration to share with you, this time at Keswick Hall! Located in Charlottesville, VA, Keswick Hall just reopened after a multiyear renovation. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can tell that they left no room untouched. From the black and white marble floors, to the warm, […]
I’m back with another intimate wedding, this time photographed at Great Falls Park in Maryland. Bree and Robin pushed back their wedding day due to the pandemic, but wanted to officially get married on their original date. When we chatted through a few location options for their intimate wedding, they loved the majestic nature of […]
Popping the bubbly because it’s Friday, and because I’m sharing Ashlyn and Patrick’s stunning engagement photos taken at the Conrad Hotel DC! Their fun, motion filled engagement session took us around all the locations in the Conrad Hotel, including finishing at the rooftop with views of the Washington monument. The Conrad Hotel Washington DC is […]
Did you catch Loretta and Nathan’s Belmont Manor wedding in last month’s print copy of the Washingtonian? Loretta is a self-described Anglophile, and I loved seeing their colorful English garden inspiration come to life at Belmont Manor in Elkridge, Maryland. The couple married under magnolia trees at Belmont Manor and then greeted friends and family […]
Carolyn and Sonitha were originally supposed to be married at a hotel in Washington DC in 2020. Like many of the couples impacted by COVID-19, they chose to reschedule to 2021. When local DC restrictions still did not ease up in the spring, they pivoted and changed venues, selecting the beautiful Stone Tower Winery in […]
BEHIND THE LENS
Director, curator, documentarian, photographer, storyteller. Inspired by history, culture, and the stories that connect us.
My family immigrated to the United States as refugees, leaving their lives behind in search of a brighter future. With all their worldly belongings contained in the suitcases they carried, the scant photographs that crossed the ocean have served as a lifeline to stories untold, allowing me to piece together my family legacy, one image at a time. Decades later, I discovered photography as a medium to document my travels (37 countries and counting!) and encapsulate the joy and happiness that each new adventure brings.
Currently booking for 2023 and 2024 weddings in Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, and beyond.
