I’ve had the privilege of capturing this family multiple times: for their engagement, two weddings (thank you COVID), and now as their family grows. It has been such a joy watching them grow their family, and I am so excited to see what amazing things this stage of life has in store for them.

My family immigrated to the United States as refugees, leaving their lives behind in search of a brighter future. With all their worldly belongings contained in the suitcases they carried, the scant photographs that crossed the ocean have served as a lifeline to stories untold, allowing me to piece together my family legacy, one image at a time. Decades later, I discovered photography as a medium to document my travels (37 countries and counting!) and encapsulate the joy and happiness that each new adventure brings.
