Genta & Josh || DAR Constitution Hall DC Wedding Photographer

DAR Constitution Hall is one of the most iconic Washington, DC wedding venues. The tall marble columns and views of the Washington Monument make it a complete show stopper when combined with the O’Byrne Gallery for wedding receptions. I shot Genta and Josh’s wedding at DAR Constitution Hall back in April and can’t stop smiling from this day (see their engagement session here).

We started off at the Mayflower Hotel (another DC icon!), and Genta’s bridesmaids were the epitome of kindness and helpfulness. It makes such a difference in a wedding day when everyone is on the same team, hustling to get the important shots so that there’s more time to party! Genta’s Essence of Australia gown was both timeless and chic-perfect for DAR Constitution Hall’s various beautiful settings.

Genta and Josh are deeply rooted in their faith, and watching them tie the knot was such a moving experience surrounded by their friends and family with the Washington Monument in the background. Genta surprised Josh by adding his grandmother’s china to their sweetheart table which added a beautiful pop of color to their cream, taupe, and green color palette. The party continued on the portico area, with gentle spring breezes keeping guests cool for the evening.
