Carolyn and Sonitha were originally supposed to be married at a hotel in Washington DC in 2020. Like many of the couples impacted by COVID-19, they chose to reschedule to 2021. When local DC restrictions still did not ease up in the spring, they pivoted and changed venues, selecting the beautiful Stone Tower Winery in Leesburg, Virginia and re-planned their wedding in just under four months! I love the clean, modern aesthetic they brought to their wedding design, marrying white florals with fresh greenery. Their signature drinks included a nod to their pup Angelo, while butterfly touches throughout the decor paid a subtle nod to a Tiffany’s butterfly necklace Sonitha gifted Carolyn.
