I have been keeping this wedding under wraps for a few months now, and am so excited to finally share Aimee and Ayush’s Hindu Christian fusion wedding photographed at the Four Seasons Baltimore, featured on TheKnot.com today! Planned perfectly by LynnAaron of Nouvelle Weddings, Aimee and Ayush’s fusion wedding incorporated a bright terracotta, burgundy, and jewel tone palette throughout the day. Guests received a preview of the festivities through a stunning stationery set designed by MLC Designs, featuring a Ludwig leaf which is important in Indian culture. For the many out of town guests that traveled to Baltimore for the wedding, welcome gift bags featured a mixture of treats from Baltimore, India, and New Orleans where the couple currently live and work as doctors.
The Four Seasons Baltimore was the perfect setting for celebrating Aimee and Ayush’s love. The morning started with the Indian ceremony, preceded by the baarat and milni on the Four Seasons Baltimore waterfront. A water taxi took guests around the Baltimore Inner Harbor, while drummers provided music for everyone to dance to. In the afternoon, the Christian ceremony was held, followed by a reception featuring tons of Bollywood inspired dances vis-a-vis a mini sangeet in the Four Seasons Baltimore ballroom. I had so much fun capturing this vibrant wedding and working with Aimee and Ayush, who are both incredibly kind and sweet. So happy to see the hard work of the talented vendor team acknowledged via publication, and can’t wait to show you more multicultural fusion weddings soon!
