Rachel and Gabriel’s summer wedding at DAR Constitution Hall was the perfection fusion celebration for this California duo. Gabriel is originally from the DC region, so providing a classic DC wedding experience was important to Rachel and Gabe. We started the day off at the Willard Intercontinental where the bride and groom got ready with their friends and family. A tearful first look was followed by beautiful portraits around the grounds of DAR Constitution Hall. We had some crushing August heat that day, but everyone was fabulous (and stayed hydrated!). They combined a gorgeous outdoor ceremony overlooking the Washington monument with a traditional Korean paebaek ceremony during cocktail hour. The Bee Inspired Floral team and Spilled Milk Events transformed the O’Byrne Gallery into a stunning reception space for guests. I loved hearing their heartfelt and hilarious speeches from Rachel and Gabe’s friends and family and watching guests dancing the night away under the portico afterwards. Congratulations on a beautiful wedding, Rachel and Gabriel!
