I spent the Memorial Day weekend in Philadelphia with Christine and Pankhesh, who will be celebrating their first anniversary in less than a month! We commemorated the event by doing an anniversary session that spanned the Magic Gardens (totally worth the visit if you are in town), the always breathtaking City Hall, and a few shots behind the Art Museum. Fun fact: it’s way quieter behind the museum rather than in the front, where everyone wants to grab the iconic Rocky shot. Memorial Day weekend is always a popular weekend for getting married (Darren and I got married on Memorial Day weekend!), and we ran into two bridal parties taking photos at City Hall on both Saturday and Sunday. Cue the nostalgic tears.
Anyway, what I love most about this session is that Christine and Pankhesh were able to rock all the crazy colors of the Magic Gardens, and then transition seamlessly into the clean, classic stonework of City Hall. Oh, and their love for each other. That’s important too! Enjoy, folks, and have a great weekend
