When Morgan reached out to me asking if I was available to photograph her Rockville Courthouse elopement, my heart did a happy dance. “It will just be the two of us,” she wrote. You see, I love me a good wedding with all the beautiful details and glam, but at the heart of it, I love LOVE. The fact that Rockville Courthouse is about a five minute walk from our place doesn’t hurt either! Anyway. The love that Morgan and Mumia have filled that little courtroom and then some on a blisteringly cold Monday in February. It was a quiet celebration of their love that just felt so special and intimate. The ceremony took less than 5 minutes, and afterwards we braved the cold for some romantic portraits around Town Square. Can you spot which Rockville building they were taken at? If you are planning an elopement/courthouse ceremony in Rockville, be sure to allocate time for portraits outside! The courtroom has almost no natural light, and depending on the time you get married, there may be a group waiting for the next time slot right outside of the door.
Morgan and Mumia, I hope you had a wonderful time in Cancun and wish you a lifetime of joy and happiness!
