Last Wednesday I had the pleasure of photographing this group of seniors as they finished off their high school years at prom in National Harbor, Maryland. I had been anxiously checking the weather all week, as it was supposed to thunderstorm right around 5 PM when photos were scheduled. If you’ve been to National Harbor, you’ll know that there’s very little by the way of roof coverage…so I held my breath and miraculously around 3 PM, the chance of rain disappeared. The waterfront made for a gorgeous backdrop, and the sun peeked through in some of the shots, making for a lovely golden hour. So lovely, in fact, that I was able to deliver their photos in record time…the very next day. That’s a first, and potentially a last for me- but because these seniors were all so cooperative, we were able to get through all of the group shots amazingly efficiently. I hope you all had an amazing night out- and congratulations on your graduation and all the amazing things you will go on to accomplish in life!
